Letzter Tag auf Maui. Bin um 6 Uhr aufgestanden, um 2 Stunden spaeter auf ca. 3000 mtr. zu stehen. Hatte gehofft, bis zum Haleakala Vulkan fahren zu koennen, merkte aber sehr bald, dass sich die Muehe nicht lohnt, da ich trotz der fruehen Morgenstunde bereits zu spaet dran bin. Die Wolken nehmen bereits die Sicht. Ich muss also irgendwann wiederkommen und einen neuen Versuch starten. Bye Bye Maui.
Last day on Maui. Got up at 6 this morning to find myself standing on an elevation of approx. 9000 feet some 2 hours later. I was hoping to be able to drive all the way up to the crater of the Haleakala volcano but soon find out that it is now worth the effort. Despite the early morning hours, I am already too late and the clouds come flying in, blocking the view. Okay, it means I will have to come back one day for a new try. Bye Bye Maui
Dernier jour a Maui. Je me suis levee a 6 heures ce matin et je me suis retrouvee sur une hauteur d'environ 3000 metres 2 heures plus tard. J'ai espere de pouvoir monter jusqu'au cratere du volcan, mais je me rends compte assez tot que ce ne vaut pas la peine de continuer. Malgre que ce soit tot le matin, je suis deja trop tard et les nuages commencent a cacher la vue. Eh ben, ca signifie donc que je dois y revenir un jour pour un nouveau essai. Bye Bye Maui

Hi! Du bist um 6h aufgestanden???? Wow!Aber für solch ein Naturschauspiel kann ich das verstehen:-)Nur schade dass es dann nicht geklappt hat-das nächste mal bestimmt..
Ich fahre heute nach Marburg, was für mich auch schon eine halbe Weltreise ist.
