Orewa Beach

Der Blog zeigt ein falsches Datum an, heute ist Dienstag, 7.Okt.2008, zumindest in NZ. The blog shows a wrong date, today is Oct 7th, 2008, at least in NZ. Le blog indique une mauvaise date, on est le 7 Oct. 2008 aujourd'hui, au moins en NZ:

Habe heute morgen Paihia und damit die schoene Bay of Islands in Richtung Sueden der Nordinsel verlassen. Mein naechstes Ziel ist die Coromandel Halbinsel, aber da ich nicht in Eile bin, habe ich beschlossen, 1 Nacht in Orewa Beach zu verbringen (noerdlich von Auckland). Leider ist heute gar kein schoenes Wetter, es ist zwar relativ warm, aber der Himmel ist grau und ab und zu regnet es leicht. Ich war trotzdem am Strand spazieren und gehe jetzt halt einen weiteren Kaffee trinken :-) Ich habe an den letzten beiden Tagen in Paihia u.a. noch eine ganztaegige Bustour gemacht, die u.a. am 90 Mile Beach entlang ging, uns bis zum noerdlichsten Punkt Neuseelands, dem Cape Reigna und in einen Kauri-Wald brachte. Der Busfahrer, ein Maori, war ein richtiger Geschichtenerzaehler und die Fahrt war dadurch sehr kurzweilig, auch weil, ich wieder ein paar neue Leute kennengelernt habe.

Left Paihia and thus the beautiful Bay of Islands this morning, and am now heading down South of the North island. My next destination is the Coromandel Peninsula, but since I am in no hurry, I decided to spend a night in Orewa Beach, North of Auckland. Unfortunately the weather today is not so nice. It's still relatively mild outside, but the sky is overcast and we get a few rain drops every now and then. Nonetheless, I went for a walk on the beach and well, I think I am going to have another coffee now :-) 2 days ago in Paihia I was on a full day coach tour which drove along the 90 mile beach, then went to Cape Reigna the most northern point of NZ and also brought us to a Kauri forest. The coach driver, a maori, was a real story teller and thus made the trip very entertaining. I also got to know new people again which was also fun.

J'ai quitte Paihia et alors la magnifique Bay of Islands ce matin et me dirige vers le sud de l'ile du Nord maintenant. Ma prochaine destination sera la peninsule de Coromandel, mais comme je n'ai pas hate, j'ai decide de passer une nuit a Orewa Beach qui se trouve au nord d'Auckland. Malheureusement il ne fait pas trop beau aujourd'hui. Il est encore relativement doux mais le ciel est nuageux et il pleut de temps en temps. Malgre tout cela je me suis promenee le long de la plage et ben, je crois je vais prendre un deuxieme cafe maintenant :-) Il y a deux jours que j'ai fait un tour en bus qui nous prenait le long du 90 mile beach, au Cape Reigna (le point le plus au nord de la Nouvelle Zelande) et aussi dans un foret de Kauri. Le conducteur de bus, un maori, etait un vrai raconteur de d'histoires et alors le tour etait vraiment divertissant. J'ai de nouveau fait la connaissance d'autre gens qui m'a aussi fait plaisir.
